New Zealand’s Green party sometimes makes me so happy that the party I entrusted my vote to has members and party policy that so closely follows my own beliefs. 

And some little notes: there are four women in shot because she’s in the Green party, the only New Zealand political party with anything close 1:1 gender ratio; the public gallery is public and runs around the upper part of the house and I sadly don’t know the correct Maori word for the song at the end but it is a sign of respect and admiration.
